Lattice Boom Cranes, crawler and truck (LAT)

Lattice Boom Cranes, commonly known as LAT cranes, are heavy-duty construction machines used for lifting and moving heavy loads.

This program is for people who have crane operating experience and are ready to take the final phase to get certified. This program includes all required written and practical exams for each of the NCCCO mobile crane operator certifications. These programs are scheduled once every month and they are always from Friday to Monday

Each program starts with the NCCCO practical exams scheduled on Friday followed by the classroom instruction on Saturday and Sunday. The classroom training is designed to cover all of the information/material that may be tested on the NCCCO written exams. The NCCCO written exams are scheduled on Monday morning immediately following the classroom instruction.

The Crane School provides the required training materials and handouts along with various question/answer workshops.

If you require any practice time on our cranes, then that can be arranged (optional) on the Thursday prior to the practical exams. We offer practice time in one hour time slots that must be reserved in advance. One of our previous students stated “There is no better way to practice than on the actual crane and on the actual obstacle course of the practical exam.” And we agree.
