Classroom Prep for Experienced Operators

Think of this TSS, TLL, LAT recertification prep seat as the weekend lecture block pulled out of the monthly Mobile Crane Operator Certification Prep Program and sold on its own. Buyers are working operators: some are going after a first CCO card, others have one nearing its expiration date. Anyone who has never run a crane will find it moves too fast.

How the Monthly Cycle Works

The prep program runs once a month. Friday is set aside for practicals, Saturday and Sunday for the review covered by this purchase, and Monday morning for the NCCCO written tests. No hands-on test is bundled here, so anyone who owes a practical should also order the telescopic (TSS/TLL) practical or the lattice (LAT) practical.

Those two days track the written test blueprint closely, covering load chart math, setup and operation, technical knowledge and the OSHA rules.

When to Recertify

NCCCO certifications are valid for five years. Signing up sometime in that fifth year leaves room to retest, if needed, before the old card runs out. Bring a government-issued photo ID and your current card information.

What to Expect in Class

Expect focused, exam-oriented sessions rather than a general overview. Instructors work through sample load chart problems step by step and cover the topics experienced operators most often miss. Our written-exam guarantee applies here too; the office can explain the terms when you sign up.

Reserving Your Spot

Pick a monthly session and pay online, or send the enrollment request form and a staff member will get back to you to lock in the seat and arrange payment. Monthly dates are listed on the class schedule.
